There are few things that are certain in life; my passion centers on ensuring that my clients and those they love are taken care of.
What I have come to know for certain though, is that passion is realized through intentional strategies and a willingness to cast the long view, while never taking the moments that make up a life’s mosaic for granted.
Blessed with the ambition and idealism instilled in a young woman told she could do and be anything she desired, I focused intently on education and career.
Early on I knew my purpose was to help others in some way, and I chose to do this through a career in law.
Working my way through law school, I found myself carving a parallel path in the realm of finance and investments. With the self-assuredness that stems from strong and selfless mentorship, and with the cloudless confidence of youth, upon finishing law school I made the decision to continue to work in finance and money management; setting out to live my purpose of helping others through this work.
I was diligent and dedicated, quickly moving up in the financial industry. I worked in trusts and estates and eventually launched a successful real-estate private equity fund. I focused on career, on climbing the corporate ladder and enjoyed the intensity of a fast-paced, work-focused lifestyle.
And then I learned first hand how quickly things change.
I knew then that only uncertainty was for certain, and although work is important and allows us to live our purpose and passion – it’s vital to look around us and live in the moment, while still looking ahead.
I took time and I took this to heart and I knew that with my training as an attorney and my experience in money management, I could truly help others through planning for uncertainty and providing the assurance that allows my clients to embrace the moments, the people and the rich experiences that build a life.
I’m fortunate to have a deep understanding of money and business. I also bring a deep understanding of the intricacies of life-altering moments that allow me to provide unique expertise and empathy to insurance solutions.
And yes, insurance planning is a process, though it is not rote for me. My work is core and fundamental to whom I’ve become and I value my ability to listen, understand, discern and empathize in order to plan for my clients as being as important a tool as my professional and educational foundation and experience.
